Boys From County Hell Trailer

Boys From County Hell is now available on Shudder TV, we did the special make up effects on the film aside from the main creature Abhartach which was designed by Neill Gorton of Millenium FX.

There's a cinema release planned for this summer in Ireland and UK, no dates yet.

The Chancers Guide to Dublin

Our animated short film The Chancers' Guide to Dublin is now available to watch on the RTE Player.  It was the winner of the Port Short film competition funded by the Little Museum of Dublin and Dublin Port Company supported by Screen Ireland.

Herstory: Mary Elmes

Last year we were one of six companies chosen to produce short animated films for RTE as part of the Herstory project. School children were asked to nominate women who inspired them.  We were allocated Mary Elmes, as nominated by Lela Curran.

Herstory: Mary Elmes, along with the other films have been broadcast on RTE and are now available on the RTE Player. Click on the image to watch the film now. The films are also available to watch in the Epic Museum in Dublin as part of their Blazing a Trail exhibition for six weeks from the 3rd of February 2020.

Irish Film and Television Academy Best VFX

We were delighted to win the 2018 IFTA Award for Best VFX for our work on The Lodgers, directed by Brian O'Malley and produced by Tailored Films.

The nominees were Windmill Lane for The Ash Lad: In The Hall of The Mountain King, Ian Benjamin Kenny and Enda O Connor for The Farthest and Screenscene for Game of Thrones.

bowsie filmmakers accept the award for best animation at the Grand Off Short film Festival in Warsaw Poland


We were invited to attend the Grand Off Short Film Festival in Warsaw Poland in November, where our short film A Terrible Hullabaloo won the award for Best Animated Short Film.

Thanks to all at Grand Off for the festival, we got to see some great shorts and meet the other film makers.
